Full Time and Fixed Hours staff are entitled to 28 days holiday (including bank holidays) per year which is pro rata’d from your start date with the company. Holiday runs from January to December each year and is non transferable. Holiday allowance for Casual Staff differs from that of Full Time and Fixed Hours staff, as your holiday entitlement is accumulated in hours rather than days; you will accrue holiday based on the calculation of the hours you have worked per month.
Casual contracts may appeal to you if you are wanting to work alongside studying at university, or have another part-time job and can’t commit to regular hours. The contract is designed to be flexible.
If you are full-time member of staff you will get paid on the last working day of the month. If you are casual or fixed hours, then you will be paid on the 9th of every month worked.
Certain roles within the business will require specific qualifications/certifications; for example, to work in a nursery setting in one of our School provisions you must hold a minimum of a L3 Childcare Qualification to be considered. This is an Ofsted requirement and the regulations are set out in the statutory framework for the early years foundation stage (EYFS). Also, some roles may be Camp only which would mean that you would be working seasonally during half term and school holidays only. This may work for you if you’re a teacher, TA or in the education sector where you look for extra work during this period.
